Oh God, he hates this. Hates everything about it, apart from the heat of her against his back. It should be him holding her. Anything else is just wrong. But what else can he do? He doesn't want to hurt her feelings by saying 'no', and he'd give everything he has to not be awake. He's so tired it hurts.

He's also pretty sure he doesn't ever have to talk about it if he doesn't want to, but that's another thing he won't say.
