He does as asked, and leaves an arm extended so she can lie against him and get spooned, if she likes. The outpouring of emotion there has left him drained, and it's heavenly to relax back and stretch out, eyelids already getting heavy. For the first time since getting here, he has the idea he might sleep without effort.

Still, he checks out her too. He's not going to get bored of doing that any time soon. And he didn't miss the sound she made there.
