He shrugs, and smokes. He really can't begin to explain how it makes him feel, and he's too tired to try. He'll only mess it up.

'Never thought you'd be the type,' he says, conversationally, after a moment.

'Thought feminists would rather shove a boot down a bloke's throat than help him take it off.'

It's clearly meant as a light-hearted observation.
